Good Times

Well, I am back to the world where Friday has a meaning, Saturdays are packed with activities, and Sunday nights are all about prepping for the week ahead.

We kicked the weekend off with dinner at the Chick Fil A playground - - - - I need to take a moment to sidebar. For all of you parents out there that don't feel it's important to instruct your children not to play on things where there is a height limit and they are clearly over it (and for that matter, a weight limit, those tunnels aren't built for the chubby kids - nothing against chubby kids, I was one - but my mother also made me follow the height rules, so I never had to worry about getting stuck in tunnels!), you stink!! And I didn't even say anything, but I did go over and give a big high five to the grandma next to me that did!!!

Anyway, Saturday morning we cruised to the neighbors garage sale and Marlie purchased some cute popsicle makers (see pic - Sam did not have a popsicle, so she chose her fingers). Then headed over for breakfast and fun with our Mary Kay family (see pic of Marlie with a purse - one of our fabulous hostess prizes in case you're interested in having a class :)!)

And today, Sunday, we hung out at the park with new friends before both girls decided they would take 3 1/2 hr naps!!

Next weekend will bring more good times . . . Bluegrass Festival here we come :)
