We are thankful that . . .
- We had a nice relaxing Thanksgiving filled with family (minus a few people)
- Marlie is starting to get into the Christmas thing
- Funny side note story . . . in a moment of frustration Marlie said "Oh God" and I had to explain that she could say "gosh" or "goodness sake" but that God was a person and you couldn't say his name unless you were talking to him. Of course, she turned around and said "Who's God?". In a momentus moment I DID NOT quote George Carlin's explanation, but rather simply said "Ask Grandma" :)
- We have a home that will be filled with family and friends for the ongoing holiday season - it will be AWESOME . . . I love chaos!
- Our Christmas shopping is done except 2 people (I suppose this is Jayson's thankful point since I am the one that does all the shopping). I am thankful that it's done too since I am one of those sick people that loves the crowds and shopping during the Christmas rush, I just don't like to have to do it with a purpose.
- Sam enjoyed her first Thanksgiving . . . and Marlie said Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and actually came up with a few things she was thankful for at the table for dinner . . . even if her number one was presents!
There would be a pic on this entry of our family with Santa at the Fantasy of Trees, but they had issues and sent us home with a CD with no pic . . . so the pic will be posted in a few days :)
So far, a fabulous start to the holidays!!
