Jayson was off today, so while I was working and Samantha was napping - he took Marlie to the store.
Doesn't sound like a huge deal, but when you don't spend that much time with just you and Daddy, it's a big deal. So she gathered up her purse, keys, and her cell phone (yet another reminder that Marlie watches EVERYTHING I do - because her words were "I have to get my phone in case work calls") and headed for the door. As Daddy grabbed his sunglasses, she had to get hers too.
These are the best pictures - because they capture the daily memories that sometimes we forget to stop and savor.
And in a moment of nostalgia as I look at my baby growing up, I had to grab a pic of the first time she left the house with Daddy - 4 days old . . .
