From 0 to Cruising in 4

Since experience told me that Sam should be crawling around 7-8 months, I was a little surprised when she took until almost 10 months old to crawl!!

Just 4 short weeks ago she was rolling around everywhere that she needed to go. Then the next week, she began army crawling, then the following week as she was more confident in her crawling, she would move herself up to a sitting position. And now here we are, in the last 3 days she has pulled herself up on anything that she can find that doesn't move . . . well, the rocking chair slid a little . . . and unfortunately, her favorite item is a barstool or a stair . . . but nonetheless, I can't wait to see what happens next week. She is a cruising machine right now . . .

She has a deal with Grandma that she gets a snazzy pair of Stride Rite walkers if she walks before a year . . . my guess is that she'll take one look at the ocean next week and go for a run!!!!!

So I think she might beat sister out on the walking . . . Marlie was a week shy of 13 months when she walked. Sam might be a week shy of 11 months!!
