We headed on a quick little road trip up to Murfreesboro on Saturday morning. We checked out the spot for Jay's new restaurant and mapped out the town into areas of possibility for house rentals.
We stopped and let off some steam at the Discovery Center - where we will most definitely become members once we move!! And after lunch as the girls napped in the car, we did some more driving getting to know the town.
While we weren't looking for a place on this trip (since what's for rent now won't be in February) - we found several prospective neighborhoods for 6mo-1yr down the road when we buy another home.
After a day of driving, we headed to downtown Nashville to our suite at the Sheraton (thank goodness my brother is in the hotel business!!! I liked our room, but would never have paid $200/night for it!). After getting settled, we headed down to the lobby for cookies and cider and watched the lighted elevators go up and down for entertainment!
So now we know the city that we'll be moving to a little . . . time to relax (or try) until after Christmas when the action will start! :)
