When Daddy works 65 hours a week, you have to squeeze in family events where you can . . . so we went and picked our Christmas tree out this morning at 8am! It was chilly, but that's nice - who really wants to pick out a tree in 65 degree weather?!? The girls had fun - while we would love to have the time to go out and cut one down, it's just not a possibility . . . so we settled for the next best thing - our little stand. We get pumpkins from them and Christmas trees . . . and Horace said in the Spring he would have flowers waiting for us :)
So Jayson went to work, Sammie napped, and Marlie and I decorated the tree!
Ahh . . .I love Christmas-time!! The house is all ready to go - ready for the chaos, fun, and family that the holidays will always bring!!
We'll see if maybe, just maybe, we can drop a little extra chaos in this year . . . .hmmmm. . . . .
