Pumpkin Patch and A Craft

I had to open with this pic of Samantha's craft project. Marlie was practicing her letters and Sam wanted to do a craft "all by myself!" So I let her go and she chose to use about 85 foam stickers - I should've taken a pic of the empty sticker backs that were EVERYWHERE! But she was very proud . . . It was difficult to explain that due to the lopsided weight that it wouldn't hang on the fridge :) Thank goodness the Dollar Tree carries foam stickers!

Trying to find the "perfect pumpkin" she said . . . as opposed to Samantha that picked one of the 1st ones she saw and never waivered through the entire patch - loving only her bruised and dirty pumpkin . . . wonder which one got Mom's perfectionist attitude and which one got Dad's accepting nature?! :)
Checking out the goats

Samantha thought she was helping the see-saw (or teeter-totter depending where you're from)

"Milking" the pretend cow - Marlie would have nothing to do with it - it was "gross and yucks"

Trying to pet the chickens and the giant turkey that soon came after!

Oh man, what is it about stickers that little kids love so much!
Love the matching overalls :)
