Shucking corn for dinner - their profiles and hair don't look at all alike, do they?! ha!

Just Being Sisters
I don't have any sisters - just brothers - so it's interesting to watch the dynamic between the girls as they get older and gain their independence a little. And don't get me wrong . . . I am not the person that says "oh, I wish I had a sister" - no - I do not think I ever once uttered that phrase growing up . . . I was the youngest, and another sibling would've meant giving up that spot - not likely! I am pretty sure if anything, I said I wanted to be an only child! ha! Anyway - I look at the girls and I'm glad that they have each other. I mean, there are those days where if one of them looks at the other one in the wrong way shit is going to go down . . . but most of the time, they are the best of friends . . . so we'll just capture the pictures of those moments :)
At the farmer's market on Saturday morning - I was trying to take a picture - the actual event that is going on is Samantha running over to Marlie saying "Sissy hide me - I don't want Mommy to take my picture!" And yes, they are totally matching - they got the shirts as a gift and I had totally bought the leggings at the end of last season :)
I know they are very lucky to have each other . . . and one day they will know it too . . . and there will never be enough words to describe how lucky I know I am to be their mother . . . how lucky can you be to have an intelligent, sweet, healthy, beautiful, and kind little girl!? And I have TWO!!! Blessed doesn't even cover it . . .

Absolutely love the hug picture. So precious.
They are so cute! I never wanted a sister either, just a bunch of brothers. I guess that means I'll have 7 girls! Ha! I bet it's fun having a sister though.
I agree with Emily. I never wanted a sister but those I know with a sister loved it! I am glad they have each other!
