Evan's Party - The Home Depot Experience

This weekend was pretty wild and crazy!  We had our family in town for Evan's 2nd birthday.  Uncle Jason, Aunt Angie, and cousin Conrad came into town on Thursday night and stayed with us.  Grandma and Grandpa came in from Atlanta Friday and Donna and Barry came in from Knoxville.  It's always such a great time when we have everyone here to celebrate and have fun . . . even if our house is torn up and put in boxes!

Saturday was Evan's party . . . I will say that this was by far my best party idea EVER!!!  If you know us, you know that Home Depot Kid's Workshops are a longstanding tradition with the kiddos.  So I inquired and found out we could have a little party thanks to a fabulous lady named Sheila.  We had an awesome time building dry erase boards, eating cupcakes, and opening presents.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend . . .

Cousins - these 2 connect - I feel like they will be very close as they get older - there are some scary similarities . . . firstborns . . .

No one decorates cupcakes with trucks, so I bought my own trucks!

The kiddos and their projects
And Evan actually got his very own Home Depot workbench from his Grandma and Grandpa . . . but given the impending move (4 days!!!!  SOOOOOOOO NOT PACKED YET), we decided to hold off on assembly :)

We were very blessed to have our family around us for this super fun party . . . and it's fun to mark it as Evan's first Home Depot trip!  Marlie had hers right after she became a big sister, Sam had hers in Minnesota, and Evan threw a whole party for his first trip!
