We went and did a little hiking up north yesterday.
In the Springs there were 40mph winds - I literally watched Evan’s puffer vest turn into a parachute and lift him off the ground. At the same time it ripped his glasses off and threw them 25ft! It was a scene for sure - I went to let go of him to get the glasses and he started to take off, as did a trashcan lid that was flying towards us! So yea . . . we went up north!
We explored and hiked Golden Gate Canyon State Park. It was a beautiful day and some great views!
On the way home we swung through downtown Denver and grabbed an early dinner at Rock Bottom. Those are my people!
