As you can see in the pic below, Marlie has developed a love of driving (I think we'll be getting her one of those Little Tikes cars for her birthday!). She wants keys and always wants to sit in "Mommy's seat" in the car.
This week, as we arrived home from school she asked "Mommy keys?" - so I handed them back to her as I was getting out of the car . . . by the time I got to her door she had locked herself, the keys, and my cell phone in the car!! That is when you just have to be thankful that your daughter is calm and a pretty peaceful person. She was entertained by me blowing bubbles and playing peek a boo for an hour while we waited for Daddy . . . the whole time strapped into her carseat!! She survived and I learned a lesson . . . good times!
She's almost outgrown her ride on toy, but at least driving this she's not a danger to anyone . . . except Harry the Cat!!!
