Pumpkins and Football

This weekend was a blast!!

We started out Friday with Marlie's field trip to the pumpkin patch. Sam and I followed in the car and gave Marlie the opportunity of a lifetime in her eyes - she got to ride the school bus!!!!! At the pumpkin patch (technically named the Fruit and Berry Patch) we rode the wagon, picked pumpkins, picked apples, fed goats, and went through the corn maze. A little more aware this year, Marlie was not thrilled with the "yuckies" on the pumpkins . . . and went straight for the man with the hand sanitizer after feeding the goats!! I am neat, but I don't know where she got this from . . .

Friday night after having dinner with Grandma and Uncle Eric, the girls went for a weekend of fun at Grandma's house . . . while Mommy and Daddy got to just hang out!!!

This was Jayson's birthday weekend! We went out and had dinner and played darts on Friday, got massages on Saturday morning, and then just hung out and watched the game . . . which ended sadly with Georgia's victory!! That's alright, truth be told, I was busy chatting outside with friends more than watching the game anyway :) Besides, Tennessee won the past 3 years, one year off is okay . . . so I am posting a pic of the cheerleader in the victorious team's outfit . . . doesn't it look like she's holding up a finger like #1?!?!?!
