#6

Yup - tomorrow is the national holiday known as my wedding anniversary . . .or if you live outside of my home, Valentine's Day! We have hit #6 - a seemingly unexciting anniversary. Why is it that #5 is a hump, #7 is a milestone because of the cliche "7 year itch", but 6 just sits in the middle?!

Nonetheless, it's our wedding anniversary, and we have our traditions. Each year we go out for Mexican . . . our 1st anniversary all we could afford was takeout from Chilis, our 2nd we were in Mexico, our 3rd I was pregnant and oddly craving Mexican, our 4th we did takeout from a Mexican joint due to lack of babysitter availability, so we've just kept it going.

We went out on Wednesday, because when your anniversary falls on a day when the entire world goes out to eat, you learn to pick a different day!This year we were forced to try a new place due to a severe thunderstorm that knocked out the power at our first choice!! And it was pretty awful . . .but I suppose a pitcher of margaritas always dulls the disappointment :)

So feeling in a nostalgic mood, I grabbed a pic from our wedding day for comparison to one we took on Wednesday to see if we've really changed all that much in 6 years . . . I think we can all say with certainty that Jayson Crandall has changed the most!!!
