Seriously, I bought this house for the back yard!! I walked around the back before going inside and decided that this was the house for us - luckily, I loved the layout inside too!! And I say I, because in case you didn't know, Jayson was in Nashville for training when I called and told him that I just put an offer on a house and I hope he didn't mind, but we were going to buy it :) I know that I am fortunate that Jayson has the patience that he does . . .
Anyway - I started to love the yard more when it got grass. Then when we fenced it in last year 2 weeks before Samantha was born, I reached a whole new level of appreciation for that space. But now, a month after expanding the deck - I love being out back even more!!!! When you just have to get outside, but don't really want to go anywhere - it's nice to have a great space to hang out in. We have 1/2 a deck with eating space for 6 and half a deck for playing!
8 years of apartment living will make you develop an adoration for outdoor space!!!
Yesterday was Sam and Marlie's first time just playing on the deck. Sota has to be gated off the deck when the bubbles come out - he likes to eat them a little too much!!
And seeing the forecast for 4 days of rain ahead, I am glad we got out a lot yesterday!!

I am so jealous to see your girls in short sleeves! My arms haven't seen daylight since Halloween. Your yard looks awesome and your kids do too :)
I am a tad bit jealous of your deck, I'm not going to lie:) I'm so glad the nice weather is here so it is perfect for outdoor playtime! (well...when its not raining!)
