That is what I call her a lot - I'm not sure why . . . it just flows :) And she even has a theme song - "you know she's a little bit dangerous, her name is Sammie Michelle" (sung to the tune of Roxette's early 90's song a.k.a. the theme song of Beverly Hills 90210).
She is making some attempts at the sippy cup, so I snapped a couple pics.
Today Marlie had left her "car" to "go to the store", so ignoring that she had a walker around her, Samantha decided to go ahead and drag the Dora ride on toy along side her. I let it go for a little while since Big Sister didn't notice, and I thought it was a noble attempt . . .
She is nearing the 9 month mark - we go to the doc next week but I am predicting 20lbs and 29in. Samantha is so set on standing that she really hasn't showed much interest in crawling - but I've been allowing her sit on the floor with Marlie and just leaving them to play a little more, and it seems to providing a good opportunity for her to roll and crawl - mostly because Marlie will take something she wants, and she just doesn't put up with it!!!
Have I mentioned how completely different these 2 chics are?!!??!!?
