We like to pack a lot of fun into short periods of time - and this weekend was no exception!!
After a thrilling 16 hrs in the hospital on Friday - truly, my Mom came out of her surgery okay, that made it fabulous!!!! - we packed in 2 birthday parties.
We started out Saturday with Marlie's party - it was a small party, but it was great - and she had a good time!!!
Then on Sunday, we went out to lunch for Samantha's birthday, and came home and did a low key celebration with presents and her own cake . . . I feel that the pic is pretty self-explanatory on Sam's love of the cake :)
AND, we even had Daddy around for the whole weekend!!! But alas, Monday morning at 9am, he leaves again . . . .
