A Post Not at All Related to St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is a holiday somewhat lost on me at this point . . . we celebrated it big when we lived in St. Paul - too big!! - but now it's just kinda the holiday right before Easter and Spring!

So today we had the best weather so far this year - 74 and perfectly sunny!! And luckily this was the day that we had our photographs planned! We met a friend to take some cute family pics and kinda maternity pics down near a river . . . I can't wait to see how they turn out. If I had to guess, I would guess that my girls will look beautiful in their ballerina dresses and I look fat :) haha

After nap we headed outside to play again - and busted out our new spring shoes for the occasion. I love the freshness of nice, white Stride Rite sandals . . . I took a pic because I know that by the weekend, they will no longer be white. I bought play sandals as well, but my girly girls wanted to wear their nice white sandals.

We finished out the night in our bedroom. On nights that I have laundry to do, that's when the girls get to pick a movie and watch in our bed . . . but most times Marlie ends up in her "sailboat" with her friends and watches the movie :)

And to finish up the post - some random pregnancy notes. I am now 33 weeks . . . baby boy will be here 6 weeks from tomorrow (though I know it won't happen, I can hope maybe he'll come early) . . . I wanted my last pics with just the girls done before I got too uncomfortable, so it's a good thing I did it today, because in the last week this pregnancy has hit me like a truck! The kicks are painful, seriously painful . . . sleep is almost impossible . . . I have started to waddle finally . . . and 6 weeks is starting to seem like an eternity all of a sudden. BUT, the longer it goes on, the healthier the baby is, and all the painful movements just assure me that he is in there growing and doing great . . . and most likely I will block all of this out just as I obviously did with my last 2 pregnancies :)

I thought the worst week of pregnancy was the 32nd week because I felt so big and uncomfortable and 40 weeks seemed forever away! I can't tell you how many times I heard "Are you sure you aren't having twins?" and "You are about to pop!" and I embarrassingly had to say, I still have eight weeks to go!
