With Jayson's schedule over the last 2 days, I've been able to go out and do our activities with just Samantha since Evan could stay home with Daddy. It's been great to be able to just chat with Sam without taking care of Evan at the same time . . . so I asked her a couple questions yesterday just so I could document some of her favorite things right now :)
- Purple is her current favorite color . . .and yellow
- Cheesy rollups are her favorite food (cheese on a wheat tortilla baked and rolled) also grilled cheese and tomato soup
- She loves Looney Tunes and Dora
- She has mastered her 4 basic shapes - colors - and numbers 1-10 . . . and can count to 30 unassisted, but to 100 if her sister gives her marks at the 10's
- She has her own sense of fashion that most days includes rain boots or ruby slippers - and she prefers to change outfits at naptime so she can express her fashion sense twice a day
- Samantha has the unique ability to be a fabulous big sister and little sister at the same time
- Her favorite activity is roughhousing with her Dad and jumping on him
- Her favorite thing at the playground is to swing on the big swings on her belly
- She is the only 1 of our 3 kids to have a favorite blankie
- There are nights where she will run in to my room at 2am and when I wake up she will say "I love you" and then run back to her room and go to sleep . . . I don't know if it's sleepwalking, we've explained not getting out of bed for non-emergencies . . . but how can you really discipline for that!? ha!
- You will hear her say "accidents happen" at least once a day . . . this phrase has helped her live through several incidents
Samantha is by far the coolest 3 year old I know . . . the personality that she has lights up our lives . . . and life will certainly never be boring with our little Sammie around!!

I don't know what it is about Sam but she's just so fun to read about. I love all your kids but this little ray of sunshine holds a special place in my heart. Maybe it's because she's the only one I've met. You were about 8 months pregnant with her when I saw you last. :-) I also remember Jayson givng you a big hug and telling you you smelled good and were beautiful. I guess I sense this same love in your Samantha. What a special girl in a special family.
