Day 6 - Back to the Magic Kingdom

To finish up our fabulous week at Disney, we went back to the Magic Kingdom.  The girls ran for Mary Poppins . . . again, they've never seen the movie, but they knew who she was by name because they have some of the songs from the movie on cds . . . and as you can see, it rained again . . . all day!

But that's alright . . . luckily Grandpa was able to be there for some time at the Magic Kindgom.
Not long after we arrived it was time to head to breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends!  Evan again found his pacifier (truly, we did take it away as soon as we got home!) and was a huge fan of holding his sisters' autograph books and pens.
So much so that he got a little miffed at Tigger for taking it away! ha!
But he knew Pooh as soon as he walked up - that's for sure!
Piglet was definintely his favorite though - he and Piglet both were playing with his big pink ears :)

And we mentioned as we were leaving that the girls would be celebrating birthdays soon, so the server brought them birthday cupcakes and cards signed by everyone that was at breakfast.  I have to say, out of any of the tips that I heard about going to Disney, the one that worked out the best was the idea to have brunch instead of breakfast.  By taking the last breakfast reservation (10:20am) the restaurant will start to empty out before they change to lunch and you get more time with the characters.  This was so true - on our way out Pooh and friends were just chilling in the main lobby so the kids got in extra hugs!
And then it was off for another favorite . . . meeting Tinkerbell and Rosetta!  More than worth the 45 minute wait for these girls!  Can you see the excitement?

And then we got in a few more rides . . . even through the constant rain, which of course stopped as we were leaving! UGH!  A caurosel ride is great wherever you are!
Then we made sure to hit up the teacups (Jay and I swapped out so the girls got to ride twice in a row - not sure how they didn't vomit given their stomachs!) and the Peter Pan ride . . . and naturally, It's a Small World (they love that song and were excited to see the ride).

Friday night we started to pack up and the grown ups enjoyed some awesome take out from Abuelos!  The girls were also visited by Tinkerbell for the last time.  They woke up on their first morning after going to Disney with little presents in their bed . . . we explained that we had heard that sometimes when you go to Disney that Tinkerbell will visit you and leave you a little something :)  She left things like Princess gold chocolate coins, princess hand sanitizer, princess cookies and toothbrushes, fairy bubbles, and super cute bathing suits :)  I was so glad that Grandma had the idea to do that . . . it was just another little special thing.

And because I forgot to start with this picture . . . I will end with it . . . the man who took it told Marlie to hold her hands out and she might catch Tinkerbell.  He said that he thought she dropped some pixie dust in her hand . . . Marlie didn't believe him . . . you can't imagine the magic when she looked at this picture . . . .
Priceless
