The Apple Orchard

I took Evan to the Apple Orchard for playgroup today. We waited for people and enjoyed some pumpkin scones.

Then it was time to learn about apples and do one of our favorite crafts - make a pig out of an apple.

Then it was time to watch apple cider made the old fashioned way . . . and of course sample some!

Next up was a tractor ride with Farmer Tom - Evan said "goody goody" when he heard - he is mildly obsessed with anything that has wheels!

We headed back up to the store to gather our things and the boys got to play in the corn kernels - note to self: price check corn kernels at the co-op - this provided waaaayyyy too much entertainment to not try to duplicate at home!
