The Nutcracker and a Christmas Parade

On Saturday the girls put on their fancy dresses and we headed out for a girls' day with Grandma. We started with lunch at the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cafe.

Then we went to see the Nutcracker on Nashville!!

It was wonderful to give my girls the experience I treasure so much from Chrismastime in my childhood!

Sunday afternoon the boys stayed home and the girls and I went to ride their Girl Scout float! It wasn't the most fun thing - I had fun - I've never been on a float!!! But the girls were bored!

They wore jammies because the theme was "the night before Christmas"

Next year we will skip the float riding and just watch it :)
