Snow Days

The kids went back to school for the first time in a week today! First we had ice and a snow dusting that put us out Wednesday and Thursday. Then the storm that dumped 2-3ft of snow in the east was supposed to hit us Friday afternoon - luckily they called school off that day because the snow started at 5am and laid 7 inches out on us - the most snow this area has seen in 15 years!

 The kids had a blast sledding and making snow men. This was my attempt - the kids called it a snow lump.

The kids built much better ones later without me. And Hudson was IN LOVE with the little bit he experienced (it was bitter cold with the wind).

It was the first time in their lives with this much snow!!

And then there is the adult side of winter
