Big Sister

Marlie was born to be a big sister, a mom, and a teacher. She hasn't waivered in her answer to the question "what do you want to be when you grow up?" since she was 5 - a teacher. She has helped each of her siblings in extraordinary ways through the years . . . and Hudson is no different.

Often times when we are walking, Hudson will refuse to hold my hand but will go to his sister and walk calmly hand in hand with her. Marlie will do anything for her siblings . . . even give up some of her special time with her Daddy to let Hudson think he's fishing . . . 

The problem I am having is that she was Hudson's age yesterday . . . 

Only a few more days until that sweet little girl hits the double digits . . . I don't know how this much time has possibly passed . . .
