It has been a wild and crazy time for the Crandall family! We put our home in Hendersonville, TN on the market in September 2016 . . . After several months and LITERALLY 70 showings, we sold the house!!!! So we took our money and headed west to start a new adventure for our family.
We arrived at our new home (for 8, Mom and Eric came with us) on July 3rd - Colorado Springs, Colorado! We have a house on what I call "our mountain" . . . As in "there's a grocery store at the bottom of our mountain" and when we are driving around town "that's our mountain over there".
We can walk to a couple of parks and the school from our home.
We also have a backyard with our "secret garden" and city and canyon views.
Last night we took a break from the unpacking and craziness that is moving and tried out The Airplane Restaurant. The food was horrible . . . But we got to eat in an actual 1940s refueling jet . . . and some kiddos were pretty darn excited to play pilot (Marlie orders from the adult menu now . . . and doesn't play in airplanes I guess . . . sigh . . .)
I know we have so many cool adventures ahead of us in our new home state . . . so I am going to do my best to get pictures and write down stories . . . For the kids to have one day when they're older, for me to absorb the moments as I recount them, and for our family and friends to see how awesome Colorado is so they will visit/move here :)
