Haircuts!!!

We did haircuts this morning!!

You know, I look back a year ago to my first trip out with both girls when we went to Target. I thought it was a big deal to go out by myself with both girls!! Now here we are a year later and we've done it all - doctors, dentists, shopping, road trips, restaurants, emergency rooms, and haircuts!!! hehehe - and that is not to knock Mr. Crandall, because I know that he would've loved to have been here through it all (well, maybe not the doc visits and the ER) - but he's working hard and we're so very proud of him!

This morning went GREAT!!!! Sam sat by herself long enough for me to snap some pics - and then she sat in my lap chomping on M&Ms for the rest. And then there was Marlie . . . I say it all the time, but it's so very true . . . there are so many days that I sit in pure amazement of Marlie Katherine. After Sam was done, Marlie jumped up in the chair - AFTER she placed her M&Ms on the counter stating that "I can't hold them Mommy, my hands have to be under the apron". Then she sat still and followed all of the person's directions. She was truly perfect!!!

And right as we were leaving, it started to downpour . . . and a very nice gentleman offered to walk us to the car with his umbrella. I said "No thank you" and then it started to rain some more . . .he then said "I'm walking you to your car - my babies were twins - they're 20 now - I don't have to imagine how hard it is, I was there" . . . so I agreed . . . .and smiled and said Thank You - thank you to the man and thank you that we live where people are still kind and take the time.

The haircuts look great--I am not brave enough for that yet!! Even with 1 kid.
