Since Samantha will be starting daycare in a few weeks, I decided to go ahead and try something different. In her class they all sit at a table and eat, and she's used to just eating off her high chair tray. So last night I decided to switch the high chair to a booster and see how it went.
Now to say that Samantha is a little bit of a wild child is a dramatic understatement - so I was fully anticipating the plate to go flying or end up on a head . . . but she actually did quite well (luckily I finally found a plate with a suction base that actually sticks!!!). And she's been attempting utensils for a week or so - so we're progressing quickly!
Note Marlie's seat at the table - it's not that we don't have a huge table with plenty of seating, but she has to sit right next to sister "in case she needs her" :)

Wow she is such a good big sis. I'm pretty sure my philosophy with my little brother went, "He can take care of himself".
