Just Kidding

So I think a few posts ago I said that I was more go with the flow on this pregnancy. Well, as far as being obsessive about reading and doctor's appointments, I am way more relaxed. But clearly my ability to ward off my OCD planning tendencies is just not there! Truth be told, Mr. Crandall is the one that started the spiral when he out of the blue offered to put the crib together the other night. Of course I had to then unpack bibs, burp cloths, blankets, etc. - which there were only about 6 items total that weren't pink!! And then began the search for crib bedding . . .

I told myself this go round I wasn't going to buy one of those expensive sets - you don't use half the stuff in them . . . but then I found this most perfect ensemble on craigslist . . . .

It's the Conor fish pattern by Pottery Barn Kids . . .and I LOVE IT!!! And how lucky was I that I found a woman selling about $450 worth of it for $100 on craigslist!! The quilt has never been used, the skirt was still ironed, a sham still had tags on it, and the mobile was still in the box!

This my friends is a pic of the most comfortable chair IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. It even makes 2 am feedings almost enjoyable! And the new little sham helps! In the background you can see our new infant car seat . . . .reluctantly I bought the red and black one because it matches our red and black Sit and Stand stroller . . . I am pretty certain my husband thinks it's because he's a GA Bulldogs fan . . .

The changing table . . . er, my wrapping station until after Christmas!!! The woman was kind enough to include some prints that match the bedding - and they fit fabulously in frames I already have. And in little sticker letters on the wall the girls and I spelled out "Griffin" - I'm just trying the name on for size :)

And the start to our son's wardrobe . . . 8 onesies already! The set on the left was purchased by Daddy . . . over 4 years as a father and that would be the 1st article of clothing he's ever purchased on his own!!

And Marlie's self portrait :)
