Jayson worked most of the weekend so the girls and I just did a bunch of random things trying not to go crazy indoors with the cold weather!
We started out by meeting friends at the museum on Friday - we went ahead and purchased a membership. They love the kids area, and hopefully it will help us finish out the cold weather and be handy in the summer when it hits 100!
Saturday we went to Babies r Us and finished up the last of my list! All of my coupons and rewards dollars became active on Saturday . . . I spent $23 on $124 worth of nursery items! Not too shabby!!! A new bottle sterilizer, sling for the bathtub, changing table cover, and we have a complete nursery! This is what Baby Boy's closet looks like right now . . . note the purple and gold and black and red outfits . . . ugh!
There is some stuff on the very right end that belongs to the girls for summer of next fall - and the pile on the bottom is Samantha's next size for spring and fall - but everything else hanging is his! And that's only 6mo - 18mo sizes . . . all of the 3mo clothes are in the armoire and all of the 24mo - 3T is in the rubbermaid container under Sam's pile! I'd say the closet is about 50/50 new and hand-me-down . . . either way, he's in good condition so far :) I just keep stumbling on these ridiculous sales . . . Babies R Us had an additional 40% off all clearance stuff . . . tonight at Kohls I got 3 one piece outfits, 1 pair of pants, and 1 shirt, plus a pair of pants for Marlie - all of it Carter's - and I paid $14 after tax . . . seriously, that makes new stuff better than consignment prices! Luckily Sam has jumped back on season with Marlie's sizes, so that just leaves Marlie needing some clothes for summer and we will be good to go!
