Walking in Memphis

Because I love that song . . . and it seems appropriate since we were in Memphis this weekend!! In general, I will be honest and say that I think Memphis is a dirty city - it just is. But of course, they have a top 10 zoo and Children's museum . . . and it's the halfway point between where we are and our best friends in Arkansas . . . so alas, this was our 2nd trip to Memphis!

Saturday morning we headed out to the Children's Museum - AWESOME!!!!! It alone would've been worth the trip . . . and our museum membership in Clarksville got us all in free - which was even better! We ended up staying for over 4 hours and had a picnic while we were there.

The 4 big kidsSaturday night we watched the Duck March at the Peabody Hotel and then headed to Beale Street for bbq and beers! When we got back to the hotel, I had matching jammies ready for all of the kiddos so we could have a dance party!!! Yo Gabba Gabba rules :)
And it was sad to have to leave on Sunday morning - these guys are like our family! So we headed to Chuck E Cheese on the way out of town to squeeze in a little extra fun and hang out for just a few more hours! Our kids are 5 (in April), 5 (in June), 4, 3, 5 months, and 3 months - so it will work out nicely for many years to come :) And look at baby Jameson - he is 3 months old . . . and then look at the toodler size baby known as Evan hanging on the front of me who is only 2 months older! They are going to be best friends!
