The first one was yesterday at the park - over a 15 minute period we watched the entire metamorphosis of a hard shelled bug shedding his skin and turning into a winged bug (possibly a cicada, but I don't know!)
Then this morning for the 4th time in the last week we found a small bird in our garage. Every morning he leaves but somehow gets back in. We watched him this morning and noticed that he kept flying by the Christmas tree stand - after further investigation we discovered that there was a bird nest in the stand with 2 little eggs! I am all for protecting nature but not for having bird shit in my garage - so we relocated them . . .
It's the best I could do - so hopefully the bird appreciates the high location :)
