Atlanta

We headed to Atlanta over the weekend to celebrate Conrad's 2nd birthday.

It was the first trip in the Green Machine and it was awesome - even Sota was excited to be able to have a seat instead of the floor for a change!
Conrad had a train theme for his birthday, complete with a train to ride!!
A good time was had by all - and it was nice to spend time with family!

Of course we stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house while we were there - so we got to visit a little with them as well.
And for a treat for the kiddos we hit up the Lego Discovery Center! The kids had a blast - as the adults that paid for that business, Jayson and I were less than impressed - but like I said, the kids had a blast and were running a little too much for pictures.
But they had a fun exhibit of downtown Atlanta built out of Legos :)

It was an exhausting ride home - we left at 7:45am and didn't get home until 8 hours later thanks to wrecks and traffic backups . . . Such is life . . . The kids were amazing through the annoying traffic because they were enjoying the built in DVD system in the new car!

Next trip for the Green Machine will be in May for the beach and then it will be out of the road trip business until 2015 sometime . . . Because we will just have too much fun planned for here at home :)
